The Alpine Retreat is ideally located in the traditional skiing village of Les Houches, just 50m from the ski slopes and 200m from the 2 main cable car stations. You can even ski back to the chalet for lunch!

The resort of Les Houches (see images below) is one of 5 ski stations in the Chamonix valley. Surrounding the Alpine Retreat, Les Houches resort has something to offer every standard of skier/snowboarder. It has a large ski domain with over 55kms of pistes including: 4 green, 5 blue, 12 red and one long black run (used each year for the Men's World Cup Downhill race!). These are all serviced by an excellent lift system of 2 cable cars, 16 ski lifts and over 100 snow canons to ensure snow for the whole season.
