The Alpine Retreat is ideally located next to the slopes of Les Houches, one of the most popular ski resorts in the Chamonix valley. Just 50m from the ski slopes and 200m from the 2 cable car stations, you can even ski back to the chalet for lunch! ,

The resort of Les Houches (see images below) is one of only 5 ski stations in the Chamonix valley. Surrounding the Alpine Retreat, the resort has something to offer every standard of skier/snowboarder. It has a large ski domain with over 55kms of pistes including: 4 green, 5 blue, 12 red and one long black run (used each year for the Men's World Cup Downhill race!). These are all serviced by an excellent lift system of 2 cable cars, 16 ski lifts and over 100 snow canons to ensure snow for the whole season.
