You don't have to be a large group to enjoy the comfort and space of the main farmhouse. We often have groups as small as 3 or 4 who rent the house and welcome the space that it provides.

Welcome to the Alpine Retreat - our wonderful farmhouse and apartment. The Alpine Retreat and its large garden are located in the traditional Savoyarde village of Les Houches overlooking Mont Blanc in the heart of the Chamonix valley. It is perfectly located for your winter or summer holiday as active or relaxing as you please.

Summer guests can enjoy walking, mountain biking, climbing or even paragliding and there is a vast range of other outdoor activities available locally. The Alpine Retreat is also popular with photographers, painters and those who simply want to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air !
